Basic Transportation Tips That You Need For Your Wedding

wedding limo experts
Weddings require a lot more planning than some people think. No matter how simple you make it, there will be odds and ends that make the planning stage quite difficult to manage alone. Even with a little help, there’s a lot that needs to get done, planned and it’s just difficult. To alleviate some of the stress, there are a few things that you can do to ensure things go smoothly. For instance, you’ll want to break down options in regards to transportation. Transportation is a big thing in regards to weddings, and done right, you’ll find that it brings about peace of mind. Taking that into consideration, here are some of the best tips that you’ll want to consider when booking transportation for a wedding today.

Book As Soon As You Have A Date

The minute you have a date set, you need to start calling to hire cars. Experts say that you should focus on booking six months ahead of time. Do not hesitate here. You need to make sure that you are able to get the right solution moving forward, and simply put, the further in advance you book, the safer your booking will be.

Limos Aren’t The Only Option

Don’t assume that having a limo is the only thing that you’re going to be able to utilize. You are going to be able to use a great number of options, including luxury vehicles, trucks, and even party buses. Think outside of the box and you will no doubt find a fleet of solutions that could very well work in your favor. Don’t get trapped into “one” option overall, there’s a lot to explore in regards to transportation.

Book Transportation For Everyone

If you have a large party, and there’s plenty of bridesmaids and groomsmen, make sure that you look into booking transportation for them all. You could book a shuttle so that they are not worrying about how they are going to get to and from hotels, venues and more. This will help you ensure that guests and wedding parties arrive safe and sound. It will also give them a little bit more freedom to enjoy drinks, food and more, without worry about driving.

Schedule With Traffic In Mind

Traffic is guaranteed on your wedding day. Plan for it. Don’t be strict with your times, or you could end up with a booking that is too difficult to manage, and will cost you more down the line. You don’t want to pay for “wait time” or extra hours, if you don’t have to, but at the same time, a little cushion will pay off dividends.

It’s your wedding day, don’t be afraid of making demands and ironing out everything in your booking. Don’t let the company bully you, or push you, and if they do, push back or hire someone else. Remember, this is your special event, don’t let anyone take it away from you. Shop around, plan ahead, and you’ll get transportation figured out without headache or incident.

A Trip Back In Time With A Chevrolet Corvette Limousine

You could always rent a limo. Anyone that has a special event, occasion, or just wants to get driven around in style can rent one and it’s great. The stretched kind are always interesting, and people assume you’re a celebrity, or someone very important. The standard option here usually revolves around a long, stretched Cadillac. But what if there was something a bit more extravagant? A bit more, special? What could possibly set trump a stretched limo? Well, what about a Chevy Corvette? Now that’s something that may just need to be explored on a deeper level.

The Corvette Style

The 1994 Corvette, and most of Chevy’s line up over the years has a distinct curved style. There’s something about it that you are not going to find in any other model. The curves, the pristine racing element, and of course the amazing interiors have always been a classic trademark of the brand. Now, if you took those design elements and you placed it well within the confines of a limo, you have something that is second to none. You are not going to find many people object to a ride in one of these, incredible automobiles.

The Power

One of the coolest things about the 1994 Chevrolet Corvette Limousine, is that there’s power under the hood. Even though this limo has an automatic transmission, it still maintains the 300 horsepower engine, and slick aerodynamic style that makes Corvette such a recognizable name in motor vehicles. If that isn’t enough, imagine the cost. For some, this may seem like it is going to cost a ton of money, but chances are you won’t have to pay nearly that much. In fact, you may be surprised that there are a few cars at auction that could very well set you back far less than you would expect. But as far as power is concerned, this is definitely a great ride in contrast to price.

The Price tag

You wouldn’t believe that this six seater, with customized elements, and a look and feel of the original 1994 Corvette would set you back under $50,000 but that’s all it costs. You will find that with a minimal amount of mileage, and a price tag around $30,000, this very well could be the coolest limo ever. Look for the amazing red interior, the heavy duty build, and the classic curves, because this is truly a compelling limousine that you won’t have to rent, people will be begging to rent from you.

Orange County Limousine – Picking The Right and Best Service

orange county limo experts
When traveling through Orange County, you’re going to find that getting around can become somewhat difficult to manage. The main issue that you’re going to have to deal with is traffic. Traffic is something that is going to surprise you, and moving around will be taxing to say the least. If you’re going to pick the right service, and perhaps the best option, you’ll want to look into a few tips that will help you navigate Orange County with a limo service. A limousine service can be cost effective, and help you gain the upper hand when traveling.

The Popularity of Orange County Limo Services

The first thing that you need to understand is that Orange County has a lot of transportation services, including luxury items like limos. The reason why is simple, driving around town is a headache. Even the locals don’t like to drive, unless they have to, because it’s crowded, traffic can become insane, and it’s just a long drawn out process, even if you need to go a short distance. This is good for business, and great for those that want to book a service.

Tips For The Right Service

If you’re going to get the right and best service for your needs, make sure that you look for licensed options. Your limo service needs to be licensed, insured, and have a good overall fleet. If the fleet is nice, and the company has been in business for some time, you can rest assured that you will definitely have a good service provider.

Before you book, shop around, but consider the amenities, price points, and more. You’re going to want to make sure that you take your time with this, as it’s easy to just call the first company you find. Look at the cars that are offered, the prices, and any fine print that you may easily gloss over. If you take your time, you’ll be able to navigate through just about any area you want to go through while traveling.

Peace of mind

When you are unfamiliar with the area that you’re traveling through, you’re going to find that peace of mind is going to be something that can pay off dividends. Travel through any new area without worrying about the driving part by hiring a good limousine service. Whether you want to stick to Orange County, or you want to visit nearby areas, you’ll want to let an experienced drive do the driving. Not only that, you’ll feel great while relaxing in the back, without worrying about the slow moving traffic, or whether or not you’ll get to your destination in time. To gain peace of mind, make sure that you look for reviews, and see what people are saying about any company, as this will help you make the final decision.

Throwing A Party With Mobility In Mind

party bus limo experts
When throwing an event of any magnitude you may want to be mobile. Whether it’s a bachelor party, a girl’s night out, or a birthday, you will no doubt want to travel a bit. For instance, let’s say that you wanted to do a bar hop or you wanted to visit several clubs in one night; you wouldn’t be able to drink and drive as it’s illegal and definitely terrible. So what can you do? You could easily book a party bus and end up at a variety of locations and venture in style.

Party Bus or Limo?

There are two major options that you can consider in regards to mobility. You can rent a party bus, which gives you a great deal of luxury. You will have better seats, drinks, and possibly even food. It’s like a club on wheels. You’ll find that you can play loud music, get driven around town, and isolate the party in a lot of different ways. Dance and drink without stopping and without worry about driving. Whether you are making multiple stops or you just want to book a block of time to go around town this is a solution that is quite grand.

The second major option that you want to look at is a limousine. This can give you the party element, without dancing, and give you a bit of luxury to go forward with. Luxury is a beautiful thing and elegance is definitely worthwhile. You can have a lot of fun with friends, drinking, enjoying television, and all in the lap of luxury.

Safety and Fun

Here’s the biggest thing that you need to consider and it’s not just fun it’s safety. When you rent a party bus or a limo you will be able to ensure that you and your friends have a good time and are safe. There’s no fun when you drink and drive which makes this option far better overall. Safety is the big thing here and when you decide to have a blast you might as well ensure that you and your friends enjoy their time. Booking a party with someone else driving is always fun and throw in a party element to make things absolutely grand.

The 7 Absolute Tips You Need To Pick The Right Limo Company

limo rental experts
Picking out the right limo service is not so simple. Look online and you’ll have a lot to look for. If you’re interested in getting a stretched vehicle for an event keep in mind the following 7 absolutes to help you get the right option. If you do a little bit of due diligence you’ll find that you will get the best for your money. Don’t just hire the first listing you see as it could very well be the wrong choice.

Look For Reviews

The first major tip is simple look online for reviews. There’s a lot of review services on the web as well as personal blogs and more. Seek out information about the company you want to work with and you’ll no doubt see if they are a good option to go with or not. With the ubiquitous nature of high speed internet this shouldn’t be a difficult task.

Experience In The Industry

Look to see when a company was founded. This will tell you whether or not the business you’re going to hire has years of experience or if it’s a startup. There’s nothing wrong with a company that is new but you should know whether or not you’re dealing with an experienced service or not.

Consider Their Fleet

What are the options that a limo service has? Think about whether or not you want luxury sedans, SUV stretched options, or something a bit simpler. The fleet that a company provides should allow you to choose from a variety of cars so that you are given the opportunity to get the right option for your event.

Visit The Office

Before you book a limo visit the office and take a visual inspection of the fleet yourself. Ask which option you would get if you rented the option. There are some companies that will not have the cars at their office and if that’s the case ask for pictures and try to gauge your interest.

Get A Quote (written)

Always ask for a quote and make sure to ask about gratuity, service fees, mileage, and waiting fees. Do not just get an estimate without fully realizing the price. Some companies will only give you a price for the booking and not the extra fees. Always get everything quoted and in writing if possible.

Ask Your Neighbors and Friends

When in doubt ask around your neighborhood. Any business worth their salt will have good word of mouth. Ask around and see if anyone can give you an idea as to whether or not the company you want to hire is indeed reputable.

Lastly, make sure that you ask about safety. Your safety and the safety of the passengers that you’ll be with matters. Ask about training, certification, insurance, and more. You’ll want to make sure that the company you’re going to hire has full compliance with your local and state laws. This will ensure that you are safe wherever you’re traveling and will also deliver peace of mind.

The Delorean Limousine

The Delorean is famous for two things. First and foremost it's usage in the Back To The Future trilogy. Secondly it's designer's illegal habits; habits that shut the car company down very quickly. That said the 1982 Delorean remains an icon in pop and movie culture more than 30 years after its arrival. Being so popular it should come as no surprise that several people have converted this car into a limousine. Nearly all Delorean limos are built from the 1982 model but don't expect to find Doc Brown’s Delorean in limo form as only a few of those cars exist in their original state.

All About Nostalgia

Make no mistake, every single Delorean limousine has been built to appeal to the nostalgia of those whom remember the 1980's as well as fans of the cinema. While there are no time machine Delorean limousines individuals desire a ride in these cars nonetheless. All feature the upsweeping doors that Delorean made famous and can almost always be found in pairs of 3. This vehicle can passenger around up to 6 people including its driver though you normally don't find a great deal of luxury amenities inside. The Delorean limousine doesn't need them as it relies on it's make and model to turn a profit.

Outta Time

When dealing with unique limos it's not uncommon for firms to require that reservations and payment be made far in advance of their event. Moreover specialized limousines usually cost an arm and a leg to rent. Not so with the Delorean limousines. Although they are unique they are also numerous and can usually be rented at a fair price. Their commonality also makes them fairly easy to find and reserve. Delorean limousines are an excellent choice for anyone who wants to arrive in style and impress a crowd. Those looking for a full bar, television, etc will want to look elsewhere however.

Stop In The Name Of The Law

No one ever wants to find themselves a passenger in the back of a police car. Riding in a police car means you're in a lot of trouble; unless of course you're riding in the Hot Pursuit Limousine. This limo which can only be found in Florida looks like serious business on the outside but is all fun on the inside.

An Alternate Set Of Rights

You have the right to a good time. Passengers won't hear their Miranda Rights upon entering the Hot Pursuit Limousine. Instead their chauffeur will insist they relax, live it up, and have a memorable trip. The Hot Pursuit Limousine's passenger cabin features a fully functional and stocked bar, seating for up to 12 passengers, atmospheric lighting, three large televisions, and an impressive sound system that features CD playback, satellite radio, and Ipod playback. The interior also features high quality leather and neon making this a great choice for party goers. The smoke machine and disco laser lights really set this limo apart from other security themed recreational vehicles.

When And Where To Rent

The Hot Pursuit Limousine is available for rent only in select parts of Florida. The car is based in Miami but occasionally makes its way to Boca Raton and other major cities within the state. Due to the uniqueness of the vehicle and high demand, those whom desire a ride must reserve the car far in advance of their event. Being a specialized limousine means it also carries a heftier price tag than do most other limousines. If you're going to be in Florida and/or are planning a fun event, the Hot Pursuit Limousine may be the car your looking for. It's great for birthdays, weddings, concerts, and family gatherings.

A Racing You Will Go

The world of limousines, like any other world, has plenty of oddballs in it. Some of these oddballs are odd on purpose and designed to shock, induce laughter, and attract plenty of attention to themselves. Others are odd due to strange or poor design choices. The Formula One limousine is an oddball simply because Formula One cars are designed to be fast, light, and are normally very dangerous. With those facts in mind it can be difficult to imagine just how fun or comfortable a ride in the Formula One limousine could be.

Plenty Fun And Very Safe

The Formula One limousine retains it's high speed sporty look and feel but adds additional weight to it's body in order to ensure the car remains on the ground. It also features a V12 engine which comes in handy when it's hauling around it's six passengers and driver. Although this limousine features a sound system in its passenger cabin this is still a racing car so riders will not have the luxury of television or a bar. Of course the trade off is driving around at high speeds and out in the open too. Multiple safety harnesses keep passengers firmly fixed to their seats; the same racing seats found in all Formula One cars.

Not For Every Occasion

Although it's oddity makes this limousine one of the most sought after, the Formula One racing limo isn't for everyone nor every event. First off, renting this car is expensive. Secondly there is an extensive waiting list so it must be reserved months or years in advance. Lastly this limousine isn't a street car so it can only be used by persons needing a short but impressionable ride. It's most often seen at racing events, weddings, and other large events. Those whom need a ride to their prom, a birthday party, or work event should consider something a little more practical.

The First Limousines

Limousines have become so commonplace in today's world that they're not even associated only with the wealthy anymore. In fact limousines are so common that plenty of people other than the rich ride in them and on a frequent basis too. Once reserved for Presidents, royalty, and the wealthiest of persons, limo's are now taken to and from airports, to birthday parties, to work, to proms and even weddings and funerals. Over the years the cost of renting a limousine has dramatically dropped too. Lower costs and virtually endless rental options make limousines the preferred method of street travel for people of all socioeconomic classes.

Humble Beginnings

The world first motorized limousine was nothing like it's modern day cousins. Built in 1902 the first limousine was more or less a large sedan. This limo was built solely to carry more than 5 people and didn't offer anything in the way of amenities or fun. It was a ride plain and simple. While the first limo didn't offer much in the way of luxury or comfort the worlds first stretch limousine was built in 1928 by the now defunct Armbruster company. These early stretch limos were primarily used to transport high profile Big Band musicians/leaders from one destination to another. These cars weren't as barren in terms of amenities as the first limousines were but they paled in comparison to even those limos that followed just a few years later.

It Rides No More

Although the world first limo no longer exists several replicas of that car have been produced and can still be found at car shows, in museums, and of course online. These reproductions are mostly very faithful to the original meager design though some have been modernized to make them more impressionable to modern audiences. Though the first limousine is long gone many of the first stretch limos still exist and belong to antique automobile collectors. The majority are retired and for show only though a few owners have been known to rent them out on special occasions...for an exceptional fee of course.

The Ford Model T Limousine

Hot and street rod enthusiasts will undoubtedly be familiar with Ford's Model T car. The car was manufactured from 1908-1927 until it was replaced by the Model A and Model B. Some historians and auto aficionados covert Model T Ford's into T-Buckets and other various types of modified hot rods. Being so old and a favorite of car enthusiasts you wouldn't think that a Model T would or could be turned into a limousine but one has.

Faithful To The Original

The Ford Model T Limousine provides riders with a comfortable and stylish ride without ever sacrificing or disrespecting the car's original design or feel. Sure the car is a modified Model T and it's been stretched but it still sports it's original Model T design and features almost entirely stock parts. Even though it's engine is small and modest it is strong enough to tote around 9 passengers, a driver, and one shotgun rider. It's not fast by any means but when you ride in this limo, getting to your destination right away isn't really the point.

A Specialty Limousine

While the Ford Model T limo is available for rent, it is more or less or show car. Those whom wish to rent this car need to keep in mind that this limo is one of a kind and is privately owned. This means that the cost of renting it can change and individuals should be prepared to wait as the owner only makes the car available during short windows over the course of a year. If the Ford Model T limo isn't available parties may want to consider one of the many alternative classic car limousines available. Those aren't necessarily cheap either but they are more numerous and therefore more readily available.

Real Heavyweights

Cars are massive constructs. Limousines are even more massive boasting additional wheels, larger engines, televisions, sound systems, bars, and even dance floors. Limousines can be quite large in both visible size and in weight. There are those limos however that give all new meaning to the word heavyweight. In actuality these limo's are more super or hyper-heavyweights than they are just plain old heavy. Some of these extraordinary cars carry their extra weight inside of their passenger cabins while others are massive simply because of the type of car or truck they are built from.

The Midnight Rider

Anyone who's driven on California's freeways will undoubtedly have seen numerous hauling trucks driving around. What these persons may not have seen is a semi-limo hauling around an enormous trailer full of people partying en route to their destination. The Midnight Rider weighs an astonishing 50560 lbs and is capable of transporting all of your friends and their friends around in one trip.

Weight Just A Minute

With so much emphasis and attention placed on The Midnight Rider's weight, it's amenities and luxuries are often overlooked. Figuratively speaking, The Midnight Rider is just as big on the inside as it is on the outside. This limo features 3 full sized lounges, a full bar, five television sets, a formidable sound system, and some of the most comfortable seating you'll find in a limousine.

Not So Fast

The Midnight Rider has more in common with nightclubs than it does cars but this isn't a detriment to the vehicle. It may not be the speediest limo on the market but it is one of the most expensive and sought after. You may be looking to reserve this limo after reading about it but doing so requires advanced planning, deep pockets, and patience.

Beauty Is In The Eye Of The Beholder

Most vehicles are good looking even if their looks become dated as time passes. Car manufacturers take great care in creating designs that will draw people in and make them want to own their car. That said, not all cars are pleasing to the eye while some are downright atrocious looking and bizarre. Such vehicles often make fellow drivers question the talent, skill, and sanity, of their designers. Aesthetically unpleasant cars exist in great number and aren't always "old" cars. Many new models can lay claim to the title "Ugliest Car In The World."

The Thing By Volkswagen

Even without seeing this vehicle it's name should raise an eyebrow or two. The name alone piques the curiosity of many if it doesn't raise a red flag. This car is boxy and looks as though it was assembled by by a kindergartner. The stock dull orange paint job only makes matters worse too. Those who've ridden in The Thing will tell you it's like driving in a cardboard box. The Thing is not only ugly but it's a rough ride to boot.

Image: dastank.com

The Tatra T603

When people talk about Czechoslovakia they normally don't talk about the cars that the country produces. The Tatra T603 is the one exception to this rule however. The car sports a look that some say looks as though someone put a 56 Chevy and an egg in a microwave together. While the car is hard on the eyes it was well respected for it's reliability and superb construction.
Image: wikipedia.org

The Bond Bug

Though this car is often associated with Agent 007 it has nothing to do with James Bond. Reliant purchased the Bond Motor Company in the 1970's and sought to build a "fun" car. The Bond Bug features 3 wheels a pointed nose or front end, and short stubby doors. This car looks to be part boat and part car though it is not an amphibious automobile.
Image: wikipedia.org

The Corbin Sparrow

The Corbin Sparrow isn't just ugly. It's also small, odd, and very intimate. This car features two wheels up front and just one on it's rear. This vehicle allows just one person, it's operator, to ride and can only drive 150 miles per charge. This car is often called "The Jelly Bean" colloquially because it resembles a giant jelly bean.

Automobile Renters Insurance

limousine experts
There have been jokes made about paying for the insurance that's offered when renting an automobile. The people who make and laugh at these jokes are the same people whom forgo auto renters insurance believing it either to be a scam or just wholly unnecessary. While it's certainly true that car rental and insurance companies make money from this type of insurance they do so only because automobile crashes, damage, and other issues are rare. Those who've driven off the rental lot without the extra insurance and gotten into accidents or seen their rental car sustain damage sing a very different tune. The out of pocket expenses associated with driving without extra renters insurance quickly skyrocket when an incident does occur.

Better To Have It...

...and need it than need it and not have it, or so the old saying goes. This is a wise piece of advice especially when you're talking about automobile renters insurance. While most car renters will drive and complete their rental without incident, those that run into even minor problems find themselves happy to have the extra insurance. While the basic insurance rental lots require an individual to carry cover basic collision and liability, the extra insurance covers everything else. Uninsured motorists, broken windshields, theft, and miscellaneous damages are all covered under this type of insurance. Drivers involved in incidents without the added coverage may find themselves in court, being sued by other motorists, and with negative marks on their credit reports.

All Cars Covered?

Some whom rent vehicles may be under the assumption that not all rentals are covered by additional insurance. Others pass on the coverage because they don't think the car they're renting is worth it. Whether a driver is renting a town car, riding in a limousine, or renting a high end sports car, it behooves them all to sign up for additional and more comprehensive coverage. Rental companies protect their vehicles and those who rent can protect themselves and their own finances by accepting this type of coverage. All companies that rent vehicles out offer supplemental insurance. There is no excuse not to take it.

The KAZ Electric Limousine

Courtesy of www.topspeed.com
When talking strange limousines one must include the KAZ Electric Limo in the conversation. This Italian-Japanese vehicle is ambitious and really off the wall. This limousine isn't the longest or the most luxurious but it does dare to be different and is one of a kind. The car's six wheels are powered by 6 separate electric engines which produce 74 horse power each. The KAZ Electric Limousine looks like a Volkswagen Beetle on the outside and is streamlined and sleek on the inside.

Ambitious Construction

Japanese and Italian engineers came together to build this car and took a full 5 years to complete the project. Those involved in this project sought to create a limousine that was both on the cutting edge of technology and was unconventional. They succeeded in both aspects creating a car that looks futuristic and incorporates cutting edge vehicular technology. Even it's electric engines push this car from zero to sixty two miles per hour in just seven seconds. This type of power is rare among electric engines. The engineers of this limo poured over four million dollars into its creation and those who've ridden in this car will tell you it was worth every penny.

An Environmentally Friendly Limo

The KAZ Electric Limousine was also designed to be environmentally friendly. Not only does it not consume fossil fuels but it produces no waste or pollution whatsoever. It is listed by  automakers as a Keio Advanced Zero Emissions vehicle (KAZ) because it can be driven without damaging the environment nor does it ever need to be refueled. The vehicle's battery life is nearly 24 hours which means the car can be out for lengthy periods of time before it needs to be recharged.

The World's Ugly Limousines

There are a great number of ugly cars but when it comes to limousines car makers usually set out to make their limo's luxurious and aesthetically pleasing. That said there exists a number of ugly limousines. Some of these are just oddballs while others feature very curious design choices and amenities. Although there's no official "ugliest limousine" a car from the Ukraine can certainly lay claim to that title.

From Another Time

The best limo's in the world look fabulous in part because they incorporate contemporary designs and standards. The Ukrainian limousine in question looks as though it was built in the late 80's or early 90's. Even by the standards of that era this limo is still ugly. The Ukrainian limousine is an abrasive grey/sliver and features wheels that look like they where stolen from Honda's 1986 Accord assembly line. While most cars are built to look and be aerodynamic the designers of this car made some very odd decisions. The car is lumpy and some say it looks blocky as though it's a child's toy.

Ugly On The Inside Too

The old adage that says "don't judge a book by its cover" is normally sound advice but in this instance it isn't applicable. This limo's interior features a wrinkled and puffy leather that looks like crumpled paper. It also utilizes dark plastics and stained woods on its walls and its late 90's Audi dashboards.  It's seats feature more wrinkled though more rigid leather and it's carpet is a very cold and dull grey.

A Comfortable Ride

This Ukrainian limousine may be aesthetically deficient inside and out but no one can say that it's not a comfortable ride. Those who ride in this odd looking car will tell you that it feels more like floating than it does driving. Moreover it's interior has been updated to include modern amenities. Riders can enjoy television, movies, the internet, and music during their trip. There's even a small but fully functional bar that riders can take advantage of. You may not want to be seen riding in this car but you'll enjoy the time you spend in it.

The Porsche Cayenne Limousine
