3 Reasons To Consider Concert Limos Instead of Driving To Concerts

When it comes to traveling in style nothing really beats a limousine. However, many people associate doing so with decadence or opulence. That’s not necessarily true any longer however as anyone can rent a limo and get driven around like a celebrity, even if only for a short stint. One solution to driving yourself and your friends to a concert is a limousine ride to the show. Just imagine getting a group of your friends and riding in both style and comfort to a venue. There are several reasons outside of comfort and style that may make you want to take a limo to a concert as well.

Save On Parking

The price of parking at concerts is usually egregious to say the least. After paying inflated ticket prices, a meal, and possibly a babysitter do you really want to pay another $15 to $20 for the privilege of putting your vehicle in the car park? Instead of paying for inflated parking prices consider saving some dough by going the limo route. Save time and money by having someone else worry about driving and parking.

Leaving The Venue

One of the biggest issues that people have after a concert is getting out of the riotous parking lot. Even if the concert you attend only has 2000 spectators you will end up having to traverse a huge line of cars to get out of the lot. This can take anywhere from  an hour to several. After a good show those in attendance usually just want to get home. Renting a limousine can help concert goers avoid this snafu completely. A limo can pick you up at a designated spot instead of having to deal with the headaches of leaving a lot with your own vehicle. You'll also have the ability to ride home in comfort.

Drinking and Driving (don’t do it)

The consumption of alcohol is often synonymous with attending concerts. Renting a limousine allows people to enjoy a few drinks without having to worry about driving. There’s never an excuse for driving under the influence of alcohol so why not just go home in luxury with the help of a limo driver that has both your safety and the safety of others in mind? This is a smart move especially if you are going to a show with friends.

A Brief Look At The Queen Mary 2

Queen Mary 2

The RMS Queen Mary 2 is one of the premier cruise liners in all the world. It is owned by Carnival and it is a ship that is named after the Queen herself. It is a premier solution for those seeking luxurious transatlantic travel. It was designed by Naval architects and is a testament to the luxury cruise liners of modern times. The ships final costs climbed as high as $300,000 per berth. The materials used in the design were made with materials that exceeded the standards of the raw materials used in other luxury liners. As a result of using a higher grade of materials the cost of building the ship climbed high. The luxury liner contains all of the luxuries that you would expect from a cruise ship and then some. These include bars, pools, a planetarium, kennels, and over a dozen restaurants.

The Design

The overall design of this ship was handled and provided by Stephen Payne, one of the  preeminent architects working at Carnival. While its design was handled and overseen by Payne, construction included over 20,000 people working on various areas of the ship including the many that saw to the fitting of several hundred thousand steel pieces. It wasn't without tragedy as several people were killed and many injured when an accident occurred during construction in 2003. Even with this tragedy the ship was completed within the projected time schedule.

Modern Luxury

Being a luxurious ship, The Queen Mary 2 is retrofitted with a great deal of art, sculptures, and designed with to provide its guests with the greatest comforts and amenities. There are several decks for passengers, and even areas for private decks, large rooms, and stacked cabins. Several options are open 24 hours a day for dining, and entertainment as well. With over a dozen restaurants, theaters, libraries, and much more in place, this is definitely a liner of great quality.

Around The World

The Queen Mary 2 joins a small list of luxury liners that have sailed around the world. In 2007 the first of many cruises around the world occurred taking 81 days to complete. This jaunt introduced a whole new way to see the world in modern times. The service today however is primarily transatlantic.

The aforementioned is a brief look at Queen Mary 2 but there is far more history involved here. From its construction to anniversary trips and from tragedy to sailing the globe the Queen Mary 2 is a ship that's definitely worth exploring on a deeper level.
